Pregnancy is more than just preparing for birth—it’s the beginning of a lifelong relationship. As your baby grows, so does your connection, and those early moments matter more than we often realise.

This gentle, three-session online course is all about helping you feel more confident, more connected, and more prepared for the emotional side of becoming a parent. You’ll discover what’s going on in your baby’s world, how your baby’s brain and feelings begin developing in the womb, how your bond starts now, and how small things you do can make a big difference.

Session 1 - Emotional Foundations for the Future

This session gently explores how your baby’s emotional development begins long before birth—and how your connection during pregnancy helps shape their world. We’ll talk about the little things that make a big difference for your baby’s future.

You’ll also have space to check in with how you’re feeling, reflect on your journey so far, and start building emotional wellbeing—for both you and your baby.

Session 2 - Exploring What Helps Your Relationship Thrive

During this session, we’ll explore common experiences that parents and babies share, including the challenges that can sometimes get in the way of bonding. Together, we’ll chat and learn about simple, practical ways to nurture your connection, reduce stress, and support a strong, loving relationship that helps both you and your baby thrive during those early, important days.

Session 3 - Helpful Strategies and Communication

In this empowering session we will talk about feeling confident in the parent you’re becoming. We’ll cover practical strategies and talk about how birth plans can help you feel more confident and in control during pregnancy. You’ll also learn about the power of communication to express your needs, listen and how to work together with your partner/care team and your baby.

Why does emotional connection matter?

From the very beginning, your baby is looking for connection—they’re wired to bond with you. That emotional connection lays the foundation for how they feel safe, how they learn to trust, and how their brain grows. When a baby feels seen, soothed, and loved, it helps shape their lifelong emotional wellbeing. And the amazing part? It’s not about being perfect—it’s about being present, responsive, and connected in the small everyday moments that matter most.

The Womb to World course gives you space to pause, reflect, and prepare for the emotional side of parenting. It helps you understand what your baby needs from you in those early days, how to build a strong bond from the very beginning, and how to care for your own wellbeing along the way.
